Pariah

Pariah is an isometric rogue-like in which the player takes the role of a sword wielding capybara. Slash through batches of enemies, collect upgrades, and master the combat to become the champion of the tournament.

My Roles

My responsibilities as a programmer on Pariah were to create a system that would handle the player inputs, create the player movement, develop a round spawning system, incorporate my health system, and work on some of the UI functionality.

As Producer, it was my responsibility to ensure that deadlines were met, presentations and documents were made, and that work across disciplines is being distributed to push toward our goals. We organized out work using Trello.

Programming

As producer on this project, it was my responsibility to make sure our team would meet our milestone goals and assignments. I organized the team by creating a discord server for us to communicate in. I facilitated regular weekly meetings to communicate our task progress, and assess what our next steps would be.
